December 10, 2014, the feast of the Mother of God "The Sign" Kursk-Root and the patronal feast of the Synod Cathedral of the Sign, marks the 30th anniversary of the episcopal consecration of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. We invite everyone to share with us the joy of this event and together with one voice and one heart glorify Our Wondrous God in the Saints and congratulate and thank our dear First Hierarch for his long and arduous service for the benefit of our
Church Abroad.
The program of celebrations includes the Vigil Services on the eve of the holiday, the Divine Liturgy and Thanksgiving services for the feast day, and a banquet in honor of the celebrant after the services.
